Homes for Ukraine 🇺🇦 UK Welcomes Ukrainians 🇬🇧
Ukrainians are now able to come to the UK for up to three years, with hosts providing free housing for a minimum of 6 months.
We are a network of hosts ready to welcome Ukrainians in our homes in and around Coventry. Coventry is a large city hour and a half North of London and 20 minutes from Birmingham.
Visa Application Assistance
We will prepare and submit the visa applications on your behalf. We will inform you of every step of the process and answer all of your questions.
Minimum 6 months free housing
All our hosts commit to providing accommodation to you for a minimum of 6 months as part of the "Homes for Ukraine" program. All hosts have passed criminal and background checks, and all accommodation has passed safety and quality checks. You will not be asked to pay rent or pay towards utilities.
Free Education for children
We will help to enrol your children in local schools. Your children can re-start their education within weeks of coming to the UK. They will be provided with special English support in schools.
Government financial support
Your family will receive government benefits, while you look for work. For a single person over 24 you will receive £324.84 a month minimum. For a family of 2 parents and 2 children you will receive £878.09 a month minimum.
Free English lessons
Everyone will be able to attend free English lessons appropriate to your language level, to improve your employment prospects.
Free Healthcare
You will have access to the national healthcare system in the UK. Consultations and hospital visits are free, and you could also potentially be eligible for free/discounted medication and dental care.
Employment Support
Together with local organisations, we will assist in helping you to find employment in the local area.
Local support network
We will support you through your stay in the UK, serving as a point of contact to answer immediate questions and redirect you to local resources.
A nice area of the UK
We have many accommodation options available, from inner city houses to countryside locations. There are all the essential services and amenities. Cost of living is also cheaper in Coventry compared to London.
